The Legacy Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors composed of five members. This board is responsible for voting on key organizational issues and overseeing the management of funds entering and exiting the Foundation. As a recognized nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the Legacy Foundation adheres to strict standards of financial accountability and mission-driven governance.
The Legacy Foundation respects the privacy and safety of its Board of Directors. To protect them from potential conflicts of interest, undue influence, or unwanted solicitations, the Foundation has chosen to keep the identities of its board members confidential. This policy ensures that board decisions remain impartial and focused solely on the mission and values of the Foundation, in compliance with all applicable laws and nonprofit governance standards.
Decisions made by the Legacy Foundation’s Board of Directors are implemented by designated administrators who manage the Foundation’s affiliated initiatives—Legacy Education and Legacy Farms of Central Florida. These administrators are responsible for executing the board’s strategic directives, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring that all programs align with the Foundation’s mission and compliance as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
If you wish to contact the Legacy Foundation’s Board of Directors, please direct all inquiries through the Foundation’s administrators. They serve as the primary point of contact and will ensure that your message is appropriately conveyed to the Board.
